What is “a webinar”?

During a webinar, you have communication with a coach in live mode. A coach tells you the tasks, while you can ask your questions. This is real TRAINING, which develops your SKILLS. Hence, you’ll be able to improve your chess strength properly during the webinar.
A video lesson or a text article provides some information to you. Any chess player can find tons of information about a chess game on the Internet. So what? Has this overabundance of content made you a strong player? Probably not.
Information does not affect your play. Only a new SKILL can do so.

““Playing for a WIN””

How to play for a WIN when the tournament situation demands a desperate win? How to plan both psychologically and strategically, conduct the game and get a favorable result?
You’ll learn to do exactly this into GM Dlugy’s webinar.
You can check out some extra information and a highly instructive game Dlugy – Kasparov here: LINK
GM Maxim Dlugy
dlugy-231x300It was in Moscow at 6 years of age that Maxim first developed his interest in chess from his grandfather Max Ritov, an International Master who played on one team with David Bronstein. Maxim was completely taken by chess and spent a lot of time playing adults.
By the time the family moved to Queens in New York Maxim was devouring chess books. In the summer of 1977 he was taken to the famous Manhattan Chess Club, where young Maxim dazzled club members. In his first event he scored three out of four against the clubs top juniors.
Jack Collins, who gained near legendary status by being an early teacher of Bobby Fischer, became Maxim’s first formal trainer. After that he worked with USCF Senior Master Jeffrey Kastner, then with VitalyZaltsman, under whose training he became known as one of the world’s most talented young players. Later on Dlugy has continued his successful chess career.
Maxim Dlugy’s achievements:
  • Won the World Junior Chess Championship
  • Was ranked #1 in the world by the World Blitz Chess Association
  • Got silver and bronze medals in a couple of US championships
  • Was the youngest president of US chess federation
  • Got medals in a couple of international tournaments: “New York Open”, “World Open”, “American Open” etc.

GM Dlugy is a powerful blitz player who has a fascinating attacking style. Now YOU have a unique chance to adopt his attacking methods and incorporate them into YOUR games. In the meanwhile you can learn a lot of useful ideas from the below game of GM Dlugy against legendary Garry Kasparov in the World Blitz Championship.
Maxim Dlugy – Garry KasparovDlugy-KasparovWhite to move
How would you play here as White against Garry Kasparov?
If your initial thought is “I would resign immediately”, please, collect yourself and come up with a move. :)
After that you can observe this highly instructive game with my commentaries here: LINK
P.S. Based on the past experience I have to make this remark. When I’ve conducted my webinar last Saturday, I’ve stated clearly that, the ONLY way to get a recording of the webinar is to register for the webinar. Then, no matter if you attend the live webinar or not – you will receive its recording.
Nevertheless, I keep receiving messages from students saying:“Oh I’ve missed the webinar, how can I receive its recording?” There’s NO way.
If you missed past webinars, try at least not to miss the upcoming one :)

Spanish Courses and Special Offers!

Spanish
In the Remote Chess Academy, we always take in account our student’s wishes and needs. Recently, many of you asked for a translation of the courses in Spanish. That’s why today I am proud to announce to you that we have translated three of the courses into SPANISH.
In honour of this nice event, there will be 15% DISCOUNT for these three courses (both for the English and for the translated versions) during the next few days, till Sunday 29 June.
Just indicate your discount coupon ESP while placing your order and it will cut 15% off the price automatically.
You can see the detailed instructions on proper coupon usage here: LINK

COURSE #1: The Grandmaster’s Secrets“:

In this course, I will give you all Grandmaster secrets and tell you how to study, how to learn in the right way, how to avoid blunders and inform you of many topics based on my own experience. I put 15 years of my experience into one course, with interesting and amazing videos.
Get the English version here: LINK

In chess, the opening stage is primordial and it’s important to be good during it if you want to have a successful middlegame. Strong players are very well prepared in this part of the game and they generally come into the middlegame with an advantage. That’s why, with this course, I can give you the chance to be prepared like a Grandmaster and to get a complete opening repertoire.
Get the English version here: LINK

COURSE #3: How to Beat Titled Players“:

Lots of amateurs think they don’t have a chance against titled players. But they are totally WRONG! That’s why, in this course, I’ll show you how to master the five weapons in chess and how to defeat titled players.
Get the English version here: LINK

But this is not the only good news: if you already own a course, you can buy a translated version of the same one for only $7. For example, if you own an English version of the course, “The Grandmaster’s Secrets”, you can get its Spanish version for just $7.
